The most popular street food dishes

The unflagging popularity of mobile restaurants means that the quality of the dishes on offer is constantly rising and new, previously unusual dishes are appearing in food trucks. Below is a list of the most popular street food dishes from every corner of the world.

Lángos - a Hungarian pancake

Lángos is a pancake made from potatoes, flour and milk, which is deep-fried in oil. The classic version is topped with cream, cheese and garlic, but there are also less traditional versions, for example with chopped onion and bacon pieces. It is a very filling meal with a distinctive flavour.

Bahn mi - straight from Vietnam

Under this mysterious name there is a quick but very good Vietnamese dish. These are huge baguettes, filled with tofu, meat and sometimes also Vietnamese pâté. Various vegetables are added to it, marinated ones being the best.

Pizza - straight from the oven

Not so long ago, it was unthinkable to get a delicious pizza from a food truck. However, vehicles equipped with special ovens, in which it takes just over two minutes to bake an aromatic pizza, have started to appear! Top it off with a delicious sauce, something to drink and you'll be happy.

Bread pizzas and kebabs

Fast food is still the most popular street food: pizza breads or kebab with fries. However, to meet customers' expectations, gluten-free, vegan and lactose-free versions have also appeared. Warm bread combined with fresh vegetables, meat or tofu is a combination that never gets boring!

Street food is not losing its popularity and it is hardly surprising. Thanks to food trucks you can eat quickly and tastily, and at a low price, you can try dishes from all over the world which you have never tasted before.
